Your new role

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in their office and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects. This role is office based full time in Doncaster. Travel to site may be required once a quarter.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will ideally hold a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar). In addition, you will have proficient IT skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Finally, you will have strong organisational skills and interpersonal skills.

We currently have a vacancy for a full time Receptionist/Estate Agency Assistant. As the first point of contact with our firm, we are looking for an organised and dependable person with good telephone and communication skills.

Our office hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Receptionist duties include answering the telephone, dealing with general enquiries, distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, indexing of Wills and Title deeds, closing files and other general office duties. Estate Agency Assistant duties include assisting the Property Manager in all aspects of the Estate Agency which primarily involve managing Social Media Portals, arranging viewings for prospective buyers and establishing feedback for clients, input and update of the Company Website, generating Virtual Tours for property marketing and assisting with incoming and outgoing emails.

A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically MS Word and Excel, would be preferable but not essential as training will be provided if required.

Salary will be reviewed after probationary period.

- Purchase ledger including invoices, reconciliations and payments
- Sales and credit control
- Customer and supplier query resolution
- Bank reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Preparing and posting information ready for the external Accountant including journals
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper role with confident knowledge of the purchase and sales ledger functions. An ability to work on your own initiative and communicate with a range of internal and external customers will be key.
You must have good working knowledge of Sage.
What you'll get in return
Full-time annualised salary: £25000 - £35000 DOE
This role is Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch.
It is full-time office based, free parking on site.

• Prepares Market Ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary duties to provide our residents with that quality move in experience.

• Reports any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas, to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance supervisor.
• Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
• Attends and participates in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield.
• Performs duties as assigned, in a timely manner.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Dresses per Cushman and Wakefield appearance standards.
