Experienced Relief Support Worker

Salary £11.44 per hour

Full time, part time and relief hours are available - Leeds LS12 area

The main objective of this role is to encourage people to maintain their own health and wellbeing including support with their medication needs, access to medical professionals & personal care when needed therefore driving will be preferable, there will also be a variety of social task to help the service users integrate within the community.

The role

Across all services, you will be supporting people with learning disabilities, some mental health issues and Autism, with some challenging behaviours at times. Therefore you must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to ensure a consistent approach and that the individuals needs are being met.

Real Life Options offers flexible employment opportunities. This role will include shift working, including evenings, sleepovers, nights and weekends as the service is staffed 24/7

Sleepovers will include an allowance.

Previous experience is with challenging behaviour support is essential for this role

A DBS will be required for this role.

Offering c. £55,000 - c.£80,000 p/a + company car or car allowance

North-west leading Civil Engineering contractor specialising in ground works for the house building and residential market. They work with some of the largest building contractors in the UK on projects such as New Build, Schools, Supermarkets, Hospital and health care, Education, and commercial buildings.

The Quantity Surveyor Will be involved in the commercial management of multiple £10million - £20million projects with some of the largest House building clients in the Northwest.

Essential to success in this position is having experience as a Quantity Surveyor on Groundworks projects for new house build sites!

About The Role
At Our client we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. Our client bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.



We’re recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Milton Keynes area.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need to carry out tasks independently (and at times involve this will involve leading a small group of commercial staff) and will involve carrying out both periodical duties and one-off tasks in accordance with deadlines as directed by the senior Commercial team. You will need to prepare and agree variation accounts – main contract and sub-contracts. We would also need you to monitor cost against targets and contract progress against accepted programmes and work plans in conjunction with other team disciplines.

We expect you to provide input into change control procedures for EOT, delays and performance adjustment. Another key part of the role is to prepare and agree interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts and sub-contract final accounts. You’ll also need to prepare and issue certification and payment of sub-contractors. It’s essential that you provide contractual advice to management (ensure compliance with contract and legal administration obligations e.g. Timely issue of relevant notices).

You must negotiate and progress the resolution of any disputes. We will need you to identify potential commercial risks and evaluate options for their control and management.


About The Candidate
Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
Enrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS or similar).
Successful experience at Quantity Surveyor level, displaying skill in delivering a positive commercial outcome for the project(s) with which you have been associated.
The ability to listen, learn and take on board new concepts and carry out actions, whilst mentoring junior team members.
