A client within the Public Sector based in the Northeast is currently recruiting for a Planner to join their construction team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a commercial construction environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to be responsible for the co-ordination and production of tender and
contract planning duties.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparation of Pre-tender Programmes, to include all relevant information in relation to site visits and resources required in the execution of the contract.
- Responsible for production of the Master Programme in conjunction with the site representatives, and issue for distribution
- Attend Sub Contract and Client Site Meetings as required
- Promote, maintain and monitor best practice procedures.
- Take a pro-active approach and reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their activities at work, including occupants, visitors and members of the public
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require experience of working within a similar role.

- Ability to use IT equipment and bespoke IT programs
- Ability to work under pressure
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £25 - £27 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
