The job holder will:

• to work within the tree team daily to ensure work is carried out efficiently, effectively and safely.
• The post holder will carry out their duties in accordance with the SHP’s equal opportunities policy, health and safety policy and all other relevant group policies and procedures
• To carry out all inspection duties in compliance with health and safety legislation and guidance, the external services handbook and SHP codes of practice.
• to undertake specified climbing arboricultural duties, including tree pruning, aerial rescue, dismantling and felling to prescribed arboriculture specifications and standards, and monitoring the safe use of cutting and climbing equipment.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis

• The Project Building Surveyor role in the Programme & Project Management Section is responsible for a portfolio of projects within the Capital Projects team.
• Acting as an intelligent client & fulfilling the key duties of Building Surveyor, Project Manager and Contract Administrator under the chosen form of contract.
• This involves taking sole responsibility at all times for making major decisions or changes affecting the successful project outcome.

Building Control Surveyor needed in Sutton.

The rate is £34.04ph PAYE

This is a temporary role working part time

The successful candidate will carry out regular inspections of the building and works, and inspect and test foundations and drainage. They will take samples of new building materials and assess their suitability and will keep records of the visits made to site and write reports and issue completion certificates.
