Permanent – 37.5 Hours per week
We are currently looking to recruit two Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our team within Lovell’s North East region.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the financial cost control and reporting of one or more developments from the Award up to and including completion of client and sub-contract final accounts, recovery / discharge of all retentions.
Applying yourself in a professional environment, you will liaise with clients and subcontractors, having the confidence to go out to projects / properties when required to do so. This position will involve working within a busy Quantity Surveying department on new build and refurbishment schemes.
As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will hold a formal qualification such as HNC in a relevant subject, with previous substantial quantity surveying experience within the construction industry. Client-driven, with experience in housebuilding, you’ll hold a valid CSCS Card which is essential to the role. Candidates will have strong decision making and communication skills, as well as having experience of managing teams and be able demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to develop a small team.
