Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this position leads a team of Mine Surveyors to provide accurate and timely support to mine planners and operations, whilst ensuring statutory obligations are being met.  This is a great opportunity for a Registered Surveyor to lead a team and work with advance survey technology.  Duties will include: Oversee the team of Mine Surveyors delivering pit design, set outs, topographic surveys/scanning, data reduction, accurate volume calculation and reporting Management of the gas drainage plan, ensuring boreholes and data are accurately recorded for delivery of Permit to Mine Plans Management of monthly survey activities including aerial flyovers, volume calculations, validation and reporting Producing accurate survey data in accordance with statutory and company standards Establishing survey control, reporting and ensuring that statutory requirements are met Conducting subsidence monitoring for approvals and engineering surveys for mine infrastructure as required.
