We’re recruiting for Senior Property Claims Handlers to join our growing team, based in our newly refurbished Bolton office. If you have a natural ability to relate to people and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, then you could be the perfect addition to our team.
Our Property Claims team is responsible for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property. As part of the wider Claims function including Casualty, Motor Engineering and Commercial Motor, you'll contribute to the strategic objectives of AXA Commercial whilst helping our customers protect what matters most to them. Every claim is different and that’s what gives the job so much variety!

What you’ll be doing:

Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training. Due to the nature of the role, some claims are because of a distressing or simply unfortunate incident, so listening and acting with empathy is key.
Staying composed and level-headed when faced with challenges to effectively assist and support customers during their most critical moments of need.
Taking proactive measures and utilising available resources to ensure the best possible outcome for each customer, addressing their specific needs related to their incident or claim. This includes investigating and gathering evidence to help bring each claim to the point of conclusion.
Respond promptly to calls, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, precise and timely completion of case notes, logs and diaries for each customer.
Recognising the signs of a fraudulent claim and referring these for further investigation where needed.

Working Hours and Shift Pattern: Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, a total of 35 hours per week, with no weekend work required!
Training:
You’ll have a structured onsite training programme with one of our specialist Trainers. Following training and once you’re more competent in the role, you’ll move to a hybrid way of working; working at least 40% of your week away from home at our Bolton office.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing your own portfolio of claims offering coaching and development to colleagues where applicable.
Using your initiative as well as information resources available to provide the best outcome for the customer.
Answering calls adhering to standard response times whilst ensuring accurate and timely completion of case notes, logs and diaries for each customer.
Utilising strong attention to detail, remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help customers when they need us the most.

We have opportunities for several Property Claims Handlers to join us in the Commercial Claims Department based in Bolton, helping our customers and brokers of AXA Insurance in the UK. Our Commercial Claims unit is responsible for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property, Casualty, Motor Engineering and Commercial Motor. As part of the wider Claims function you'll really be contributing to the purpose of helping all our customers have better lives. We're particularly interested in speaking with established Claims Handlers that have either Subsidence or Business Interruption experience.

What you'll be doing:

Manage your own portfolio of claims.

We have an opportunity for several Property Claims Handlers to join us in the Commercial Claims Department based in Bolton helping our customers and brokers of AXA Insurance in the UK. Joining us as a Property Claims Handler, you’ll be an essential member of the team helping our customers over the phone, by handling their queries on Claims. You’ll have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships based on Integrity and trust. We always put the Customer First in everything we do, so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them.
Commercial Claims is a very diverse function bringing together the traditional Claims areas including Motor, Property and Casualty but also Motor Trade, Financial Lines, Disease, Engineering and our European Claims. Our people are the most important factor in ensuring that we are able to consistently deliver for our Commercial customers and we have a fantastic opportunity to be able to share knowledge, experience and learnings across the whole function.
