Overview of department:

Information Management (IM), defines implements and adapts leading aerospace/defence client's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and Information Systems (IS) strategy to the needs of the business and users.

Within Information Management the Information Systems teams have responsibilities for supporting and deploying business applications, with IS Engineering supporting a key pillar of our business.

The IS Engineering Solutions team work as part of IS to support leading aerospace/defence client programmes and transformation activities.

Responsibilities:

The IS Engineering Solutions team support leading aerospace/defence client's contribution to the Future Cruise Anti-Ship Weapon (FC/ASW) programme, an international programme to deliver a new generation missile. The team supports the programme through collaboration with key partners in UK Defence and abroad, as well as looking at the internal state of leading aerospace/defence client's IM systems to meet the needs and new ways of working FC/ASW will deliver. The IS Engineering Solution Architect will cover both of these key activities working within an established team to prioritise and deliver improvements to our Engineering toolsets.

Assess Needs/Ideas according to the IM End to End Process as Technical Expert or apply the equivalent agile techniques adopted in the programme. Ensuring, and maturing the quality of the Scope, Feasibility and Business Case. Accountable for projects compliance with Technical Quality and Results working with the appropriate IM Delivery Teams for the agreed solutions.

Provide Systems Engineering processes/lifecycle subject matter expertise and advice at all stages and investigate the appropriate application solutions for all the programme needs in the application layer working closely with the Infrastructure Architect.

Undertake the following tailored to the solution/programme approach:

• Interaction with counterparts in key partners for Enterprise goals
• Assess leading aerospace/defence client's compliance with Enterprise standards, and identify activities to improve our internal tooling

The Solution Architect is responsible for supporting a variety of internal and external stakeholders within the scope of the programmes. Performing Business Analysis and Solution Design to define the digital transformation/adoption goals and develop solution roadmaps. Fostering strong stakeholder relationships and integrating into the programmes and functions in order to support and guide them to good and effective decisions.

Where possible align new concepts and solutions to the existing enterprise and digital transformation strategies, and the existing leading aerospace/defence client engineering capability. Propose innovation in the toolsets and solutions when that directly meets a business goal or delivery need that cannot be met with current capability. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that all solutions proposed align to IM's own strategy and reports to the existing IS Engineering Solution Architect.

Would you like to join our dedicated, highly skilled staff team to provide co-ordinated, high quality person centred care and support to our guests accessing Thyme Lodge respite service.

Thyme Lodge provides care and support which is tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences and promotes wellbeing, choice and community engagement to adults with a learning disability, mental health diagnosis, autism and physical disabilities.

We are recruiting a proactive and compassionate leader to oversee the operational management and quality of our respite care service in St Helens. Thyme Lodge is a beautiful, homely 5 bedroomed respite service with a comfortable communal lounge, kitchen/diner, conservatory and large garden. All 5 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and each has en-suite facilities. The house is tastefully decorated throughout and always has a welcoming atmosphere.

Our guests have a range of support requirements including assistance with managing medication, finance support, personal care support and assistance to learn new daily living skills to help promote positive self-esteem and independence.
Our guests are looking for someone who is caring, passionate, fun, reliable and kind.

You will hold operational responsibility for all aspects of service delivery, CQC and contract compliance. You will promote and re-inforce a culture of responsive, professional, person-centred practice, and active support within the service.
Relationships will be built based on respect and unconditional positive regard. You should have a well organised approach to staff deployment and service delivery.
You must have significant practitioner or management experience in relevant health and social care service provision alongside a warm, person-centered and respectful approach. An understanding of CQC quality requirements and care standards is essential. You should have a relevant professional qualification and/or a degree level qualification.
