The Marketing & Communications Assistant supports the work of the Marketing & Communications team in implementing effective M&C campaigns, both digitally and through liaison with the media and audiences, to establish the venue as the primary regional entertainment venue. The marketing team is crucial to the success of ATG’s future ambitious vision.

Your line manager is the Digital Communications Manager for Swansea Arena. You’ll also work closely with the Conference & Events team at the Arena. This role is based in Swansea Arena, and some travel – as well as flexibility for evening and weekend work – will be required.

As a Stage Door Receptionist, you will be a key member of the Back of House department. This is a casual role, with shifts available over 7 days covering morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts, depending on the productions, events and maintenance scheduled into the venue. Working in collaboration with all departments, the role reports to the senior member of staff for Stage Door and will ensure that our interaction with visiting companies and contractors is always efficient and professional.

Stage Door provides the primary security presence for the Arena and is also the first point of contact for all visitors to the venue. As well as welcoming all visiting companies and contractors, the Stage Door Receptionist will also be a main source of communication between multiple departments at the venue, making sure that all messages and information are passed in an accurate and timely manner.

Amongst various other tasks, some of your daily jobs may include operating the fire panel and opening and closing the building. Stage Door is also responsible for preparing and maintaining the 8 inhouse dressing rooms, ensuring they are set ready for visiting artists. They will also help contribute to the maintenance of the arena’s systems and equipment back and front of house.

Operational:Competently interpret requests for photography / video to provide clinicians with high quality images for patient care, triaging, diagnostic, teaching, publication, and research purposes. Undertake clinical photography in accordance with departmental protocols and procedures, using standardised representational photography and non-standardised techniques.Undertake clinical photography to the highest standards, across a wide range of clinical specialties within the organisation. Undertake patient photography in a range of clinical settings, including clinics, on the wards, in operating theatres, and in the photography studio, adhering to the local standard operating procedures applicable to each clinical area. Ensure patient care, dignity and well-being is maintained during the photographic procedure. Adapt photographic practice to meet individual needs, including but not exclusively, cognitive disorders, cultural and religious considerations, physical and sensory impairments. Undertake clinical photography practice to ensure it adheres to national and local policies and legislation, including but not exclusively, consent, confidentiality, copyright, and data protection, from the photographic request through to image storage and output. Competently and creatively handle non-clinical photography assignments e.g., PR photography, portraiture, and other forms of general photography, to support the organisations public relations, teaching, and research activities. Produce high quality digital images using advanced technical skills in computerised image editing, in accordance with departmental procedures, being aware of where there is a need for a defined audit trail. Contribute to the maintenance of quality control of own work and across the section. Communications: Understand all relevant issues regarding patient consent and confidentiality for illustrative recordings and be able to provide advice about appropriate policies, techniques, and image management within the organisation. Ensure patients understand why photographs / video are being requested, the process of consent for imaging and how the recordings may be used and securely stored. Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient centred care. Advise clients, of all levels, on the most appropriate use of photography / clinical video techniques and resources. Liaise with clients and senior photographers, when appropriate, in interpreting photographic briefs to meet the needs of the client. Contribute to the development and implementation of protocols for clinical photography practice, including research projects. Assist the Head of Department / Photography in the forward planning, development, and promotion of the service as a whole and in the implementation of new technologies and techniques, as appropriate. To be conversant with modern trends in clinical, scientific, and technical photography and illustrative procedures and to keep abreast of technological development within the photographic field. The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Electronics Design Engineer (Electronics) to join our clients team based in the Swansea area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum.

Hours of work: Days / Full time

Location: Swansea

Working alongside engineers from other disciplines and supported by engineering management this role will be responsible for delivering the electronics platform supporting both medical and consumer IPL beauty therapy devices. The jobholder will be responsible for the full product development lifecycle and is expected to have an excellent understanding of design for mass manufacture and reliability. Responsibilities will encompass a wide range of electronics from opto-electronic sensing, low power amplification, microelectronics, medium to high voltage (300V-1kV), power semiconductors, mains powered and DC-DC SMPS.
The role will also be responsible for the PCB design and layout so an understanding of best practice design for EMC is required along with a working understanding of a suitable CAD system.
The role will often be required to theorise and prove a design so an understanding and working knowledge of a spice based simulator would be required.
The role will be required to deliver a platform that may in part be reliant on software for its operation, therefore the ability to effectively communicate the requirements is essential.
The role will be required to deliver a platform that can be tested at both a functional and production level. It is essential that the candidate has an understanding of the testing required to suitably validate the design and to ensure operation during mass production. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate the test requirements.
The role will be required to deliver work to support a wider product development, therefore a good work ethic, professional approach to delivery and the ability to communicate issues to a cross functional team is essential. A proven track record of delivery and working understanding of fundamental project and time management processes would benefit the candidate.
The role will be responsible for delivering a platform that meets all necessary regulatory requirements, therefore an understanding of the required standards and in particular the testing requirements (EMC, Insulation, Fault tolerance) would benefit the candidate
Working in a small development team, the jobholder is responsible for the full product design lifecycle, from concept through to production, on the mechanical aspects of cutting edge consumer electronic products in the Beauty and Medical industry.

Responsibilities:

• Working alongside engineers from other disciplines and supported by engineering management:
• Design and development of power, digital and analogue circuits.
• Design, build and test prototypes and write detailed technical reports.
• Ensure that electronic products are designed and tested in accordance with company procedures.
• Management and implementation of cost reduction programmes.
• Reliability and regulatory testing of products (EMC, electrical safety), including submissions to external regulatory bodies.
• Investigation of field and production issues and implementation of corrective actions.

Experience:
Essential

• Product design of high volume consumer electronic products, including digital and analogue circuitry.
• EMC and safety testing to consumer standards
• Working to high level quality standards
• Use of electronic test equipment.
• Use of PCB layout package.

Qualifications and Training:
