- You will make engineering studies of assigned work to determine overall requirements such as component size and capability, arrangement, special material, and work involvement of other codes.
- You will conduct investigations aboard ship to obtain information for development and determination of working plan adaptability and implementation.
- You will investigate structural failures or damages and prepares reports including remedial action(s) to prevent further occurrences.
- You will have the authority to disapprove unsatisfactory work packages and be responsible for submission of work packages that have been approved at their level to the Branch Head for final review and approval.
- You will identify and resolve structural problems encountered during pre-fabrication, installation, and grooming, or testing phases of waterfront production efforts.
