The Team:

Our design team produces a range of designs from collaterals to print media design as well as digital media design. Championing an agile culture, the team is often seen bouncing ideas off each other while strategizing.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Creative Team on creative projects
• Propose creative directions in ideation, execution & production phases
• Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the Marketing team
• Develop and manage innovative graphic designs; update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video
• Uphold visual communication & brand standards for the company & clients
• Manage creative timelines from concept to completion
• Create daily content
• Manage project workload and monitor deadlines and quality of layout, style & tone of all work produced
• Serve as a liaison between the marketing team, creative team and clients
• Spot and predict trends important to readers and creators in categories including f&b, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, etc

Requirements:

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills!
• Strong in Advertising Concepts (i.e. reasons for design applications], and Brand Collateral designs
• Able to manage between delivering quality work and respect project deadlines in place
• Experience in a creative role such as Creative Designer, or Digital Creative within a creative agency or in-house creative marketing team
• Portfolio focused on advertising
• Familiar with Adobe creative suite software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Knowledge on software such as After Effects & Blender are a plus
• Knowledge on WIX Web platforms are an advantage
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail along with good organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What the role is

The Waste Infrastructure and Engineering Division (WIED) oversees the planning, engineering design and development of all NEA waste management infrastructure. ​ ​ ​ ​

What you will be working on

The Senior/Executive Engineer will actively participate in the planning, development and management of future solid waste management facilities, including the integrated waste management facility and other recycling facilities that align with the targets outlined in the SG Greenplan 2030. The responsibilities and scope of work include:

• Develop various waste management facilities, with a focus on the integrated waste management facility, and secure planning approval and funding support
• Plan and implement project schedules to ensure timely execution
• Administer the procurement process to select and appoint project consultants and contractors, including the preparation of tender documents
• Manage consultants in conducting feasibility, preliminary design, and detailed design studies
• Supervise consultants/contractors and conduct site inspections to ensure timely and cost-effective development of waste management facilities in compliance with tender requirements
• Manage funding and budget planning cycles for projects
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders of projects

What we are looking for

• A degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering is preferred. Applicants with a degree in other engineering fields and relevant work experience may also be considered
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in engineering is highly preferred.
• Knowledge in solid waste management systems, project management, and review of building plans and engineering drawings would be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Demonstrate maturity, independence, resourcefulness, and self-motivation
• Adaptability to diverse work scopes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft Dot Net environment and frameworks/systems.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of integrated business systems and technical challenges.
• Ability to detail and communicate the proposed architectural solutions and their benefits.
• Experience in enterprise CMS, CRM, ERP, and Mobile Applications.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows) and databases (e.g., MSSQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure) and understanding of SaaS and PaaS models.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure Certified Solutions Architect).
• Prior experience in consulting or business strategy.
• Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
