Data Architect

We’re looking for a data architecture lead like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for the homeland security mission.
As a data architect, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for enterprise cloud services. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture-related business needs and working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.
In this role, you’ll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use industry-leading tools as you lead your team to design, define, develop, and test cloud solution components. You’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:
10+ years of experience in data solutions, including data storage, processing, and analytics
4+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions
Experience developing and maintaining a data architecture, including data models, data flows, and data governance
Experience monitoring and optimizing the performance, scalability, and security of cloud-based data solutions
Knowledge of cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics solutions in public cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data management best practices
Experience with data pipeline, data streaming, and ETL technologies
Experience with data platform technologies, such as Databricks
Experience designing solutions leveraging data warehouses, data lakehouses, and enterprise reporting
Experience designing database security measures to safeguard sensitive data, including collaborate with cybersecurity experts to ensure that databases are protected against threats and vulnerabilities

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
