Business Architect, Brighton, £54-72k doe, hybrid working (minimum 6 days a month in the Brighton office to include every Thursday), working for a large pension's organisation.
Would suit someone from a business analysis and business change background, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to work autonomously and talk strategies to Senior Leadership and the Board.
Working collaboratively to ensure business change/analysis (Process) and IT Strategy / Solution Architecture (Technology) align with the Target Operating Model (People).
The Business Architect will be responsible for:
- Target Operating Model (TOM) development, identifying and assessing the business-wide impact of new change, and in doing so, supporting Business Leaders, Portfolio, and Business Analysis to build a change portfolio that supports effective and efficient transition to the new business architecture.
- Be the owner of all overarching business design artefacts, and responsible for delivering, maintaining, reviewing, and ensuring correct use and compliance through effective communication, collaboration, and training.
- Deliver and maintain architectural blueprints, delivery roadmaps, and transition state diagrams in support of the TOM.
The Business Architect will ideally have:
- BCS Advanced Diploma in Business Analysis (or equivalent).
- Extensive breadth of knowledge and experience leading on business analysis deliverables (e.g., business cases, requirements elicitation, requirements analysis, options analysis, gap analysis, operating models, and process design), evidenced though experience on large, complex, multi-million-pound projects/programmes.
- Experience of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks including TOGAF, and their relevance to the practice of Business Architecture design.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), CRM systems, Workflow, Document Management, and modern software development lifecycle.
- Expert in Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
The Business Architect is a permanent full-time role, hybrid working, £54-72k doe, 25 days holiday, civil service pension, discretionary bonus arrangements, flexible working, inclusive environment, sociable team, development opportunities, parking on site.
