We're recruiting for a Secondary School based in Northamptonshire that is a part of the David Ross Education Trust. Your new role
We are recruiting for a full-time Head of Art teacher to join the team starting from January until Easter 2024, with the potential for extension or temp to perm. We are looking for experienced people who are motivated to support and inspire students across varied age ranges.
The assigned person will be expected to make a positive impact on the academic progression of KS3 and KS4 students and the curriculum taught. You will be able to provide additional attention to specific students when needed, build student relationships and encourage all.
You will be responsible for planning exciting and interesting lessons to engage pupils in their learning. You must be able to passionately deliver your lessons with enthusiasm and be able to drive pupils to achieve their full potential.
On a long-term supply basis you will be required to fulfil an active teaching role including planning, marking and assessment, PPA time will be included.
What you'll need to succeed
The appointed candidate will have full Qualified Teaching Status and be familiar with the current curriculum changes. Hays Education welcomes applications from ECT's and experienced Teachers!
You will have experience of providing support and high-quality lesson plans and a drive to make a difference through teaching. You must ideally be flexible and adaptable to changing timetables.
