The Opportunity
Adobe is seeking a Senior Finance Manager who provides critical financial and strategic support for the Creative Cloud Segment withing the Digital Media Business Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Media Finance team as we continue to propel the business through data-driven forecasts and provide influential insights.
This position will report to the Creative Cloud Finance Director and will play a critical part in crafting strategic objectives, influencing management decisions, leading change, standardizing methodologies, and challenging the status quo across the Creative Cloud Video Category. The finance team celebrates understanding the big picture, and this role will balance deep financial modelling, with strategic investigation and analysis. What you'll Do
- Partner with senior business leaders to develop deep understanding of the products/services offerings, support business modeling and deep analysis on critical initiatives.
- Be able to develop complex, data driven models to support business partners on decision matrix and have a clear point of view and perspective on helping to influence business partners.
- Understand key productivity metrics that drive the business and have a clear point of view on performance and trends
- Prepare, consolidate, and influence executive presentations, telling the story of business performance and risks & opportunities, and applying high impact visuals with compelling insights
- Drive critical resourcing decisioning & support via project-based assignments, understand the key business priorities and initiatives, and have a clear understanding and point of view to influence where investments should be made
- Work asynchronously with the broader DME finance team to develop short term plans and track performance
- Opportunity to generate and lead projects to cross functionally drive automation, standardization, and financial insight across areas such as compensation metrics and analysis, bookings insights, revenue modelling, and services pricing
What you need to succeed
- 8+ years prior FP&A experience in professional services, support, and customer success organizations at a software company is required
- Positive attitude and collaborative in a heavily matrixed environment that changes as the business evolves
- Solid hands-on experience with financial modeling, forecasting trend, and variance analysis
- Strong analytical and communication skills to articulate key business and financial implications and business impact
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and self-starter who is passionate about continuous improvement
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills crucial and experience in PowerBI and Tableau are preferred
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,600 -- $256,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
