We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Design Manager to work on multiple project for our Build division. Working on a wide range of Design & Build projects in the Industrial & Logistics, Commercial and Life Sciences space, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of design management in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule.

About you

• Solid Design Management experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor
• Construction experience from a Build background
• Understanding of modern methods of construction and off-site manufacture
• Excellent communication skills - written / spoken.

McGinley Support Services require a Design Manager for a site in St Albans !!

THE ROLE:
* Deliver technical solutions in response to the needs of the company's programme of work. Take responsibility for the technical compliance, quality and appropriateness of solutions delivered.

* Lead design consultants and multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver the design solutions to schedule and budget.

* Support the project delivery teams by providing concept, basic and detailed design solutions based on client and site-specific requirements for clean water, wastewater and biosolids treatment solutions, pipelines, trunk mains, sewers pumping stations and networks.

* Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions in response to the needs of the project schedule and the company's programme of work.

RATE: £75 to £85K
HOURS: 40hrs/week, 07:30 - 17:30
START: (once approved by client)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Minimum 5 to 10 years of design and management experience
* Experience in the management of design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including MEICA installations
* Working knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and common data environments
* Degree/HNC qualified, or equivalent, in civil engineering
* Member of a recognized engineering professional body, Incorporated
