Responsibilities

• To work as supporting Mechanical Design Engineer to Project Lead Mechanical Design Engineer
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions / Specifications / Mechanical Data Sheet / Technical Bid Evaluation for Centrifugal Pumps, PD Pumps, Air Compressors.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions / Specifications / Mechanical Data Sheet / Technical Bid Evaluation for Steam Boiler, Hot Oil Heaters, Heat Exchangers, Refrigeration Units, Oil / water separator, Cooling Tower, Vapor Recovery Unit, Marine Loading Arm, Gangway, Jib Crane, Flare, Truck Loading Arm
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions / Specifications / Mechanical Data Sheet / Technical Bid Evaluation for Pressure Vessels, Fire Fighting Equipment
• To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.
• To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.

Software Requirements

• Good proficiency in MS Excel, MS word, MS Power Point

Code Knowledge

• API 610, API 676, API 682
• ASME Section VIII
• NFPA 20, NFPA 10, NFPA 16
• OCIMF

This position reports to the Group Engineering Manager and is part of the OMS Engineering Team. OMS Engineering department supports all the product lines of OMS and is responsible to design and define the specifications for the products.

Individual to be involved in:

1. Designing, calculating and drafting of product

2. Defining the product specifications and creating Bill of Material.

3. Testing and validating the products.

4. Supports all technical enquiry and problems.

1. Drafting skills - Draftsight (2D) and Solidworks (3D)

2. ERP Systems - Oodo System

3. Product Knowledge

4. Technical Calculating Ability

5. Project Management and effective communication Skills
