SALARY: £56,421 - £74,290 (Dependant on location)

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least
two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
The in-house Creative Studio team brings communications to life using best-in-class innovation, project management, script/copywriting, graphic design, film production, and motion graphics. Over the last 18 months we've built a strong reputation for quality and are used and deployed for all high-profile communications internally and externally, i.e. the moments that matter.
About this opportunity
The Creative Studio provides an advisory service to GCA Partner and Channel Teams in monitoring quality of creative, insight and output. This includes creative assets that are on brand, of high-quality and utilise best-practice for the objective and channel.
The Graphic and Motion Designer will support Lloyds Banking Group's communications objectives internally and externally through the creation of innovative graphic design and video-based content, you will be part of a highly skilled team of creative professionals.
Reporting into the Creative Lead, you will work closely with the Production Manager, Creative Lead and Film Lead, plus a team of designers, videographers, motion graphics specialists and more!
Responsibilities

You'll be as comfortable with design as you are with motion graphics and able to interpret data to develop and produce high-end design and 2D and 3D graphics that take complexity and make content that is relatable.

With a proven understanding of editing, pacing, and composition; you'll build purposeful assets for our internal and external audiences. Comfortable designing a dramatic moving backdrop for a company event, or a short 2D graphic summarising a fintech innovation. Comfortable working on a variety of different types of projects such as an infographic for a presentation, a suite of assets for social media, or exhibition material for a corporate event.

You'll be responsible for bringing to life concepts that showcase the Group's purpose. With an understanding of branding, typography, layout and composition.

You'll be a brand champion, manage client expectations, meet deadlines and bring idea to life!

You'll be experienced in contributing to the delivery of creative responses to briefs that take into account brand guidelines, manage expectations, logistics and timelines. With the ability to take those ideas and practically bring them to life through graphic design, 2D and 3D imagery.

A collaborative approach, working closely with the team to interpret, develop, and implement first class, on-brand creative from briefs supplied by partners across all levels

Experience crafting for multi-channel campaigns, seeing projects through from development to launch, with a strong understanding of our owned channel's identity and content performance

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Challenges and interrogates constructively to make sure content and campaigns have clear strategic direction, objectives and impact.

What you'll need

Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in industry design (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and motion (After Effects - essential, Cinema 4D - advantageous) tools.

Proficiency in visual design, editorial, typography, digital design, social media, creative thinking, branding identity, storyboarding, art direction

Develop and execute outstanding motion graphic content from briefs supplied by our stakeholders in GCA and Group

Conceptualising, animating and executing projects from treatment to final production

A collaborative approach, working closely with the team to deliver campaigns

Great communication skills, able to convey succinctly the rationale behind their creative choices

Ability to apply audio mixing, editing to motion graphics

A good understanding of all channel types and associated formats, along with the appetite to quickly learn and discover requirements of other specific digital systems (e.g. SharePoint Online, Social Media, Digital)

Meticulous attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills and highly proficient in spelling and grammar
