Purpose of the Job:
To oversee the design approval process and resolve all related issues on restaurant builds and remodels.
Job Size:
The role initially covers the markets of Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Brunei, Guam, Saipan, but market assignment may change from time to time according to the business needs.
This position will be based in Singapore with traveling when required.

Major job functions include but not limited to:
- Review of all design submissions (both BOH & FOH) and strive for 100% design approval across all our markets;
- Collaboration with Ops & QA representatives to ensure cross functional resolution when needed;
- Support Design & Construction (D&C) Manager on BuildSmarter workshop preparation and tracking;
- Support D&C Manager on Energy Conservation Management program;
- Support D&C Manager on Building Green Initiative program;
- CAPEX analysis resulting in opportunities identification through monthly status report;
- Collaboration with internal cross-function teams and franchisees to drive restaurant (BOH/FOH) optimization;
- Generate content for bi-monthly D&C Newsletter and drive process;
- Prepare monthly Design Approval Status report;
- Flagging design risks/issues that may compromise the brand, food safety or health of crew;
- Participation in monthly design calls with our markets to track & update market pipeline; and
- Support D&C Manager in any other assignments as required within the D&C scope.
BE YOUR BEST SELF... with your top-notch qualifications:
The person must possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in restaurant design
- Strong attention to details and good spatial skills;
- Clear written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong AutoCad, 3D Modeling, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Suites capabilities
- Ability to influence various levels of stakeholders, franchisee engagement experience is desirable
- Strong communicator and analytical skills
- Team player’s spirit
