Key Responsibilities

Hands-on work with Cadence customers in the areas of Frontend Digital Design Implementation including Synthesis, DFT and Logical Equivalence, Low Power, Power Characterization.

Lead technical campaigns and strategies in the Frontend digital implementation space. 

Aggressively push Power, Performance, and Area (PPA)

Job Requirements

Minimum

MS degree Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Engineering, or related field, plus 8+ years industry experience.

Strong knowledge in Digital Design Fundamentals, Semiconductor fundamentals, and Static Timing Analysis is required.

Prior experience with IC digital implementation flows and front-end EDA tools including Synthesis, DFT, and Logical Equivalence Checking, Low Power, Power characterization.

Expert in RTL Synthesis and ability to rewrite RTL to accomplish improved PPA.

Experience in scripting in Perl/Tcl/Python to automate and implement process improvement is a must.

Experience with advanced technology nodes including Sub 5nm and below.

Develop, debug, and optimize various aspects of design flows for SoC’s to achieve best Power, Performance and Area (PPA)

DSP Design Verification Engineer

Position Description

Key member of the Tensilica DSP team within Cadence, responsible for design verification of DSP based hardware products as part of families of Tensilica DSPs and hardware accelerators, targeting various application domains such as computer vision, AR/VR, audio/voice, Radar, AI or ADAS/AD.

Be part of an agile team with experts in DSP architecture, design, implementation, and HW/SW verification. Gain understanding of the DSP algorithms and mathematical functions being implemented. Architect and implement verification environments and tests to ensure that the implementation is correct, there are no functional bugs, and the performance criteria were met. Design, implement and maintain large scale regression frameworks that improve quality and project execution time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with architecture/design team to understand the algorithms and mathematical functions.
• Define and develop detailed test plans.
• Develop tests in C/C++ to create a behavioral model of the DSP functions, using fixed point or floating point arithmetic.
• Develop and maintain extensible/large scale regression flows and infrastructure, including tools for aggregating metrics and trending.
• Develop System Verilog/UVM testbenches and checkers.
• Apply formal verification methodology for verification sign off and quality.
• Develop and apply novel techniques for verifying performance of designs.

• Knowledge of DSP arithmetic functions. Domain specific knowledge in Audio, Computer Vision, AR/VR, Radar or AI desirable but not necessary.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, especially hardware micro-architecture, processor pipelines and instruction sets.

• Collaborate with the Spectrum and Brand designers to build and maintain a design data ecosystem that includes asset delivery, design data management, design tooling integrations, engineering resource libraries, and documentation publishing systems.

• Maintain and expand the toolchain Spectrum uses for static-web documentation publishing, which includes a headless CMS data platform, web templates, site navigation and request routing, server configuration and maintenance, and release publishing automation. 

• Request, deploy, configure, secure, and maintain a number of web applications and services that make up the systems our team builds in support of Spectrum

• Support operations by architecting and building secure and reliable services, updating dependencies, planning for CI/CD and visual testing, and maintaining release processes.

• Improve and expand our systems by understand requirements, planing features in strong collaboration with designers and engineers within our team and across the company.

• Solid experience with full stack application development. This should include RDBMS and No-SQL database systems, common server and middleware platforms, CMS and templating integration, strong UI development skills, and typical software practices. (3+ years)

• Experience in deployment, management, and optimization of Amazon Web Services, specifically S3, CloudFront, and Route 53. (3+ years)

• Familiarity with Docker OS-level virtualization, including containerization, orchestration, and management of applications within Docker environments. (2+years)

• Experience with DevOps strategy and execution, including build automation, CI/CD systems, testing, service deployment, and security integration (2+ years)

• Solid knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem and npm package development (2+ years)

• Experience with git and GitHub, the process of contribution to open development, and performing peer code reviews

• Familiarity with the concepts behind design systems and how they are being applied in modern product development

• Practice working closely with designers, including a strong understanding of how to convert a design into code

• Good communication skills, particularly the ability to work effectively with individuals from non-technical backgrounds, fostering collaboration and understanding across diverse teams

• A pragmatic, collaborative and open-minded outlook, and a high degree of comfort working in a fast-paced environment

• A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience

Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Entertainment Makeup Artist to join our Entertainment team with focus on costume and character makeup. This position reports to the Entertainment Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute makeup looks styled to an approved design for performers of events.

• Duplicate work on a regular basis  & within a team to ensure conformity and consistency in look appearance.

• Cooperate with lead artist or director to achieve the desired end effect when applying makeup.

• Work closely with a variety of performers in the application of makeup during show run, rehearsals, preparation, and show changes.

• Read entertainment department look books to ascertain the appropriate materials and the look required.

• Ensure makeup looks are photo ready and well-applied in day & night settings.

• Assist fellow team members with looks & quick changes during run of show.

• Assist in touch ups during events & ensure quality of the overall product throughout.

• Always maintain a safe working environment, conforming to all established safety policies and procedures.

• Document specific looks by taking photos or writing makeup sheets that can be referred to for future use.

• Perform other tasks and carry out projects as assigned by the lead makeup artist or director.

• Proper clean up, repack, & storage of all makeup & related items at the end of each show.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare & organize the wardrobe area for efficiency & speed.

• Assign, document, & recollect wardrobe items of an approved design to entertainers at the wardrobe check in & out at events.

• Work closely with a variety of performers in the distribution & styling of costume elements, props, footwear & accessories during show run, rehearsals, preparation, and show changes.

• Fit performers to costume sizing that is suited best for body shape & size.

• Provide feedback on all personal appearances and recommend grooming changes if required.

• Ensure the quality & final product of each look before deployment on the event grounds by utilizing the 8-point checklist in the wardrobe outline.

• Assist fellow team members with quick changes in both set-up and run of show.

• Perform other tasks and carry out projects as assigned by the lead wardrobe supervisor or director.

• Repair, clean, and prep wardrobe for the run of the show.

• Make alternations, adjustments, or mend wardrobe items when approved according to needs for all shows.

• Maintain ongoing maintenance of costumes, footwear, props, or accessories etc.

• Prepare theatrical wigs & hair styled to an approved design for performers of events.

• Restyle, maintain, & make alternations or adjustments to wigs according to the daily schedule for all shows.

• Work closely with a variety of performers in the application of theatrical wigs & headdresses during show run, rehearsals, preparation, and show changes.

• Properly applying & pinning theatrical headdresses & wigs securely for performance.

• Assist fellow team members with headdresses, wigs & quick changes in both set-up and run of show.

• Perform other tasks and carry out projects as assigned by the lead hair artist or director.

• Always maintain a safe & sanitary working environment, conforming to all established health & safety policies and procedures.

• Repair, construct, clean and prep wigs for the run of the show.

• Maintain ongoing maintenance of wigs, headdresses, or hairpieces etc. 

• Maintain documentation for maintenance and participate in rotation of duties as directed. 

• Proper clean up, repack & storage of all headdresses and hair related items at the end of each show.
