Digital Employee Experience Design Strategist
Key Role:
Play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the digital experiences of our employees. Support a seamless, engaging, and productive digital environment that empowers our workforce. Work to understand the employee experience with firm technology and identify opportunities to increase employee satisfaction and adoption of change. Support employees as they navigate through the tech stack, advise on employee technical needs, provide design thinking for technology, and use feedback and demand signals to frame the optimal digital experience for our employees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the digital employee experience (DEX) vision, strategy, and roadmap. Conduct user research, analyze employee needs, and identify pain points in existing digital tools and systems. Develop personas and user journeys to inform design decisions. Create, edit, and organize technical information and turn it into compelling and useful content for internal and external audiences to drive change management. Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Report status to leadership, work independently with some guidance, and complete additional tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in digital design or user experience
Experience in a strategy or consulting role
Experience with Microsoft 365
Experience with translating complex technical ideas and features into easy-to-understand concepts for stakeholders
Experience working and collaborating with technical people and engineers
Knowledge of DEX principles, including accessibility, usability, and responsive design
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Ability to create exceptional employee experiences
Ability to quickly develop a basic understanding of technology products and platforms and respond rapidly to changing demands, priorities, and business needs

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
