Freelance Design Manager to work on site based full time on site at HMP Norwich. Role will be a facilities management contract with all works being carried out inside of the prison, so vetting will need to be carried out prior to starting on this project. You will be responsible for liaising with both the commercial and construction departments regarding the selection and assessment of subcontractors to ensure they are competent, qualified and capable of providing the design input required for the project. Experience at a design manager level will be essential as you will need to support and manage another Design Manager already based on site on this project. Experience with MOD/MOJ work preferable but not entirely essential. Role will be inside of IR35 so will either be on a PAYE or Umbrella basis.
