Roles & Responsibilities
Role Purpose
· Group Lead, Engineering & Design Systems, is responsible for overseeing the team of AVEVA Application Engineers and AVEVA E3D Administrators.
· This role involves managing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of AVEVA applications and ensuring the effective use of these systems in engineering and design activities.
· The Group Lead will provide strategic direction, support team development, and ensure alignment with organizational goals to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
Key Accountabilities
· Team Leadership and Management : Oversee the team of AVEVA Application Engineers and AVEVA E3D Administrators, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
· Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of AVEVA applications, aligning with organizational goals and project requirements
· System Configuration and Optimization : Ensure the effective configuration, maintenance, and optimization of AVEVA applications, including E&I, P&ID, ERM, NET, and E3D, to support engineering and design activities.
· Project Support and Coordination : Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to support their activities using AVEVA applications, ensuring project goals are met efficiently and effectively
· Resource Management : Oversee the allocation and management of resources within the Engineering & Design Systems team, ensuring optimal utilization and development of talent.
