As a key member of our administrative team, you will be expected to undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team. You will be required to project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. To perform all clerical & administrative duties: To provide efficient audio, copy typing & word processing service for Practice staff teams as required. This includes the typing of letters, reports, patient referrals, minutes, memorandums, etc. in an accurate & quality manner. Managing choose & book to make appointments, bookings & admissions as required including e-Referrals To establish &maintain filing and administrative systems so that written/computer information is easily accessible & secure. To retrieve medical records & assist the completion of medical/insurance records. File patient records & correspondence in patient medical records. To receive incoming & initiate outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitate timely & appropriate communications with others, taking messages and dealing with appropriate queries. Utilising Lexacom To maintain the computer clinic system in an accurate & secure manner. To assist with the gathering of statistics & information when required. To provide cover for members of the practice team in periods of sickness & annual leave. In liaison with the clerk responsible, maintain adequate supplies of office stationery in order to perform your secretarial duties.

As a HR Support Desk Adviser, you will provide professional first-line customer service support to managers and staff on all areas of HR policy, process, and payroll queries. Delivery of the service is from a central office in a contact centre environment, communicating by telephone and email, you will give up to date HR policy guidance across the organisation. You will carry out a variety of HR tasks, including payroll queries and administrative duties.

Main duties:

- Undertake a variety of HR transactional and administrative tasks required throughout the

employee life cycle in an accurate and timely manner, for example, employment changes,

absence management, pay and pensions, retirement and resignations.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Provide advice to HMLR employees and Line Managers on HR policies, procedures and payroll queries via the telephone and via email from our centralised contact centre.
• Work as part of the team and contribute to achieving agreed service levels.
• Ensure that the Oracle Service Cloud case management system and HR database is maintained and kept up to date.
• Perform scheduled reporting to support both customers within HR Group and the business.
• Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all HR documentation is updated to reflect current HMLR policy and retained in accordance with GDPR.
• Work on a variety of HR projects and tasks within the HR Support Desk and the wider HR as and when required.

Role Overview:
This role is Contact Centre based, with the main duties of Customer Service Advisers answering customer queries relating to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and about OPG's services. This includes powers of attorney and the supervision of court appointed deputies.
Advisers also play an important role by coaching and guiding our customers that are supporting vulnerable adults who have started to lose or have lost mental capacity. Therefore, it's important that Advisers have the ability to show empathy and understanding towards our customers.
Customer Service Advisers receive regular management support, and all members of the team work together to achieve our targets.
The work mainly involves communicating with our customers verbally by telephone but also in writing, and completing the related administrative work following each interaction with a customer. This includes updating our case management system, communicating and collaborating with colleagues across the business, among other tasks.

You will be working on the Contact Centre dealing with telephone calls for 6.5 hours per day. You will be the front face of the OPG on the contact centre, so experience of dealing with a range of customer services queries, so experience of working in a contact centre role would be preferable. You will be protecting, serving our vulnerable customers dealing or signposting their queries to relevant departments, so it is imperative that you have a good skills in dealing with customers and the public.

There are three breaks built into the day and extensive training will be delivered to these individuals to deliver the front face of the OPG.
