The Role: To support a young professional gentleman living with Muscular Dystrophy, to live an exciting and fulfilling life. He requires 2 new members of staff to join his team for day and night shifts. This role is for day shifts.
Main Duties:
• To provide all aspects of personal care
• To use a hoist
• To support to maintain a hygienic home (including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up etc)
• Food and drink preparation
• To support getting out of bed / going to bed each day
• To attend Dr / hospital appointments as and when required
• You will also be required to cover for colleagues on leave and sickness, and on occasions work extra hours, agreed in advance.
• To assist to attend social events, such as meeting friends, day trips, and evening trips.

This role provides essential administrative support to the school’s Senior Leadership Team and will include an element of HR support. An excellent standard of written English and literacy and good communication skills are pivotal to this role. You should hold, or be willing to work towards, a first aid qualification as part of this role will also involve supporting our Main First Aider. The ability to work flexibly, plan, prioritise and manage time efficiently whilst dealing with frequent interruptions is essential. We are seeking an experienced Band 4 Medical Secretary/P.A. to support the Consultant Psychiatrists and medical teams for Haven and Harbour Ward.

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
