We are seeking a highly dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Personal Advisor - Looked After Children & Leaving Care Service WCR 2 Base. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to looked after children and young people who are preparing to transition from care to independent living. As Planning Administrative Officer, you will be working within the project to transfer planning
powers back to the London Borough of Hackney from the LLDC [London Legacy Development
Corporation].
The role within the project involves efficiently processing transferred planning data files,
including pre-application, and planning applications, appeals and enforcements, financial
and other legal agreements, from initial submission to the final decision stage. The

Personal Care Assistants wanted for an award-wining writer-filmmaker in her early 30's who requires COMPLEX CARE care because she has a Neuro-muscular condition and is a full-time wheelchair user, who needs support with London life, work and personal care. This is not a live-in position.

TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

PERSONAL CARE:
- Washing and dressing
- Administering medication
- Hoisting and manual handling
- Support with daily physio

DOMESTIC TASKS:
- Cooking / Cleaning / Laundry / Shopping
- Collecting prescriptions, packages, posting mail etc.

TRAVEL:

Salary is based on 40 hours a week, made up of 32 Hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions. As your client base grows, you will drop your gym floor hours to maximise your PT earning potential of up to £40,772.16 OTE.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor on behalf of Haringey Council.

The Leaving Care Personal Advisor will have key responsibility to ensure the provision and co-ordination of practical, personal, emotional, social and financial advice, to enable care leavers to achieve a successful transition to adulthood and promote their independence.

Main Responsibilities

As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Manage and support an allocated caseload of young people aged 16 and above who are eligible for leaving care services
• Ensure the provision and co-ordination of practical, personal, emotional, social and financial advice to enable care leavers to achieve a successful transition to adulthood and promote their independence
• Develop an effective working relationship with young people eligible for leaving care services in order to motivate and effectively support them to engage in education, training and employment
• Ensure care leavers effectively handle their finances, live in suitable housing, and have the necessary emotional resilience and skills for independence

Requirements:

• Experience in working with young people aged 16 and above who are eligible for leaving care services
• Full enhanced DBS
