Administrative Support Officer – Management Services
Salary
- HMP Doncaster, DN5 8UXBand 7/ £24,068 per annum
Permanent (Full-Time, 40 Hrs)
Here at Serco, we are looking for an Administrative Support Office to join the Management Services team at our Category B men’s prison, HMP Doncaster. You will assist the Management Services Hub Manager to run an effect, efficient and professional service for the Director and Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities, and duties:
- Ensure all starters and leavers are processed in a timely manner.
- Administer payroll as per the deadlines.
- Ensure all reports are prepared for payroll checking.
- Produce the absence report on a daily basis.
- Apply for occupational health meetings in a timely manner.
- Assist the SMT with any absence manager queries.
- Minute taking.
- Ensure all staff both new and existing are in date with the relevant level of clearance.
- Update all trackers i.e. portfolio, catch ups, driver mandate.
- Ensure the clearance tracker and log are maintained at all times.
What you will need to do the role:
- English – Grade C or above
- Mathematics – Grade C or above
- Computer skills – including Outlook and Excel
- Experience dealing with confidential information.
- Demonstration of flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- CIPD Level 3 or above would be advantageous, but there will be an opportunity to complete this alongside the role.
