The CYP Operations Clerk performs a combination of duties related to one or more components of the CYP. Duties are related to record keeping and reporting, liaison with families and programs, and collection and monitoring of fees and supplies. These tasks are summarized below.

Record Keeping and Reporting
Prepares and maintains assigned reports, correspondence, and statistical and financial data pertaining to components within the CYP (e.g., CDC, CDH, SAC, YP, R&R, USDA).Ensures child registration and enrollment paperwork is complete and current.
Ensures that all USDA food program records are accurate, up-to-date and readily available
.Reviews and submits completed paperwork for background checks.
Maintains office files and records.
Provides required information to requesting agencies that include but are not limited to Family Advocacy, Naval Investigative Services, Environment, Safety and Fire personnel, and USDA.
Prepares necessary daily, weekly and monthly reports in compliance with reporting policies and procedures and ensures they are submitted in a timely manner.
Conducts research of records and follows up in order to resolve discrepancies and problems.
Notifies supervisor of any discrepancies and informs supervisor of any issues/ problems that cannot be resolved.

Liaison with Families and Programs
Provides front desk coverage, logs children in and out of the facility, and informs and answers questions regarding programs and services, patron financial obligations, waiting lists, events, and policies and procedures.
Assists with dissemination of information to CDH providers regarding training schedules, certification process, application status, and USDA reporting requirements.
Takes telephone calls and responds to inquiries, referring calls to supervisor or other personnel when appropriate.Performs assigned resource and referral duties and assists in maintaining current waiting list.

Fees and Supplies
Collects fees and charges and records payments in accordance with proper procedures.
Notifies supervisor of all delinquent payments.
Completes a daily activity report and ensures proper deposit of funds in accordance with established cash handling procedures.
Responsible for monitoring all supplies and resources. Notifies supervisor of items that need to be ordered.

Additional Responsibilities
Serves as a mandatory reporter to Family Advocacy and Child Protective Services as prescribed by local policy in the case of suspected incidences of child abuse and neglect.

Performs other duties as assigned.

• You will serve as Legacy Systems Transition Lead and will be responsible for the delivery, management, and execution of transitioning LOG IT legacy systems to modernized logistics systems in a complex Integrated Data Environment.
• You will support functional and technical activities for the analysis, planning, development, deployment, integration and sustainment of requirements and assigned programs/systems.
• You will direct the activities of Information Technology (IT) technicians to directly support end users and to assist with IT system upgrades and directives.
• You will collaborate across Department of the Navy (DON) Systems Commands (SYSCOMS) to develop plans or initiatives to increase the efficiency of the shutdown and transformation of Logistics IT (LOG IT) legacy systems.
• You will formulate recommendations to leadership while executing program management and technology service delivery practices and/or processes.
• You will plan and coordinate the execution of required acquisition processes and reporting procedures; providing oversight/staffing of Milestone (MS) and risk analyses associated with legacy system transitions.
• You will define distinct work phases, methods and models to plan for design, build, test, delivery of products that meet user functional requirements and enable legacy system transitions.
• You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customers to facilitate resolution of complex Business IT issues and risks.
• You will develop strategies to reduce operational risk of sustaining legacy systems during the emerging system fielding process.

The incumbent provides a wide variety administrative and clerical support to the SILC Commander and Executive Director and other management personnel and in general support of unit operations.

• Type/compile a variety of letters, memoranda, issue papers, reports and other correspondence.
• Review outgoing correspondence to ensure compliance with command policies and procedures
• Check grammar, punctuation, spelling for correctness

• You will review the PCS travel claim for all required entries, accuracy and ensure all required receipts and documentation are included for prompt processing.

• You will prepare correspondence ensuring it is properly formatted and grammatically correct.
• You will prepare performance evaluations and fitness reports for all staff to ensure all reports are properly formatted, grammatically, correct and dispatched within the required timeframes.
• You will maintain office files in subject and chronological order.
• You will access the government travel card information system to monitor transactions of travel card recipient's garnishment of accounts due to delinquency of payment and identify delinquent accounts.

• You will compile written reports to provide status updates.
• You will operate automated computer systems to maintain and update electronic records and data.
• You will answer inquiries of a general nature to make referrals to responsible staff members.
• You will determine specific action to take to correct discrepancies, errors, or problems following instructions and procedures.
• You will research rules, regulations, and procedures to resolve questions or issues.
• You will compose correspondence (e.g., technical reports, presentations) observing proper format, grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
• You will perform duties as a Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA).
• You will ensure all documents and information for personnel and pay support are relayed to the appropriate supporting organization.
