This dual role requires a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will support the Senior Leadership Team and Headteacher in various administrative capacities.The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload, with a professional and positive attitude. Adaptability to the evolving needs of the school is essential.In the role of Clerk, you will be responsible for the administrative and organisational tasks that support the board of Trustees. This includes collaborating with the Chair, Members, Trustees and the Headteacher on governance procedures and statutory duties. The position requires attendance at approximately 13 evening meetings per year.While experience in a school setting is beneficial, it is not required as training will be provided. As our Medical Secretary Team Leader you will:

• Lead the medical secretaries and support the team to work efficiently
• Supervise and encourage the team to deliver excellent customer and colleague service.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Help to grow consultants' business
• Ensure all Minimum Data Set is in place as required for CQC and NHS
• Lead on Data Quality Management within the team
• Support the continual review of processes to align to Nuffield's standard operating procedures and processes

The Person

To succeed as a Medical Secretary Team Leader, you will need:

• Experience in a similar role (experience with PiMS, DGL preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with numbers
• Strong management and secretarial skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Great Communication abilities
