An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary (6 month), full-time Band 3 Project Administrative Assistant in the Community Governance Team within Northumbria Healthcare Trust.
The post will be based at Wansbeck General Hospital and will be part of the Community Business Unit Governance Team which includes the Governance Lead, Information Specialist, Transformation Manager/Strategic Analyst, Admin Manager, Clinical Governance Administrators and linked with the Health and Safety Advisor for Community.
The post holder will be expected to:
· Provide administrative support to the manager of a specific project.
· Acts as the first point of contact for enquiries from end users.
· Maintains project library, database, resources.
· May train end users of the project.

The post holder will be expected to carry out administrative duties including but not limited to:
· Co-ordinate meetings, book venues and catering, produce agendas and type minutes.
· Point of contact for services relating to the project.
· To answer the telephone and take messages.
· Organise travel as required e.g. for site visits
· Producing documentation using Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database or presentation graphics as appropriate including letters, memos, reports and statistical information.
· To work in collaboration with other services within the Business Unit and Trust, this will require traveling to other Trust sites.
· To maintain project documents in a structured and retrievable manner
Essential criteria
· Knowledge of administrative procedures, including specialised IT systems and project management, training knowledge, acquired through formal training or experience to NVQ 3 diploma level equivalent
· Significant experience of using Microsoft based office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
· Computer Literate
· Ability to work to tight deadlines
· Strong communicational and interpersonal skills
· Organisational skills
· The ability to prioritise work as appropriate and unsupervised
