Brown & Brown is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Team in Irvine, CA!
Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day support of all departments within the profit center. Under the direction of the Operations Leader, this professional will support teammates with various administrative tasks and accurately document these efforts in our agency management system.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Assist in reaching the objectives and goals of the office by providing assistance to the various needs of each department
- Attaching various documents into our agency management system (AMS360)
- Forward incoming mail/faxes/e-mails to brokers/carriers
- Download e-docs from carrier websites, and process & release documents to Account Managers, if necessary
- Process carrier e-docs. Responsible for monitoring the department’s accounts.
- Check policies and endorsements
- Release non-service center and service center policies, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, etc.
- Run weekly report to verify commissions have been received on WC policies and confirm that commission to us and broker is correct
- Maintain updated insurance license, contract and Errors & Omissions certificates for sub-agents and non-B&B wholesalers and GAs
- Call copier service as needed for repairs
- Receptionist back-up
- Mailing marketing correspondence and certificates
- Assisting with putting together proposal binders
- Set up computers for new hires
- Various research assignments
- Office beautification – tidy conference room and break room
- Any other job related duties as may be assigned
