Vacancy for a Personal Assistant to a Company Director
Product Manufacturing, Maintenance and Sales Sector
Formed in 1966, we are an ISO 9001 accredited specialising in tackling and providing products for treating mould, interior insulation and maintenance challenges, are looking to appoint a dedicated Personal Assistant for a Director.
As a result of rapid expansion, we are looking for a person to directly report to and support the Director responsible for products, approvals, manufacture, packaging, specifications, regulations, ISO, websites and all technical issues relating to the manufacturing, marketing, distribution and sale of our products
Experience, therefore, in housing, maintenance, regulatory or manufacturing fields would be a benefit as is knowledge of energy conservation, ISO and other accreditation requirements but are not essential as full training in the precise aspects of the role will be given.
As we based in the South of England and with regard to our Energy Footprint, applicants based in the local area Epsom KT19 9QQ will be given priority.
As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operations run smoothly, providing essential support to the Director and ensuring that day-to-day activities are efficient and organised.
The Person
• Proven experience as a Personal Assistant
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly
• Knowledge of manufacturing/ products market
• Technical writing and website maintenance
• Experience in Industry
The Role
• Manage and organise schedules, appointments, and meetings with key suppliers, regulatory authorities and accounts
• Handle correspondence, phone calls, and communications on behalf of the Director.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation in respect to new and existing Company products
• Coordinate travel, exhibition arrangements and logistics
• Maintain filing systems and ensure all H&S, Safety Data Sheet and COSHH records are up-to-date and easily accessible
• Support the Director with various regulatory, Health & Safety, product specification, accreditation, website and administrative tasks as needed
• Prepare and maintain documentation for ISO 14001
