Full time – 36 hours per week – term time plus 2 days

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;
• Providing support to individual pupils, and groups of pupils, to encourage improvements in behaviour for learning.
• The ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of Saffron Valley Collegiate;
• The ability to identify work priorities, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date;
• The ability to act on own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that arise;
• High motivation, enthusiasm and professional standards.
• The ability to communicate effectively, use of ICT and have a ‘can-do’-attitude
• Ability to deputise in the Exams Officer’s absence on behalf of the centre in all matters relating to examinations
• Will be a key holder to assist in safe and secure receipt, checking and storing of examination papers and materials
• Should be available in school on the results pre-release day and on results day in August.
• Keeping up to date with the requirements of the role ensuring attendance at training and keeping up to date with the exam cycle for all JCQ and awarding body regulations latest

Salary: Grade 5, scp 13-15: £31,986 - £32,931 (£27,138 - £29,306 pro rata for term time only).
The role will be based at our KS4 South provision (279 High Street, Croydon, CR0 1QH, but please note that all SVC staff can be deployed across the collegiate to meet the needs of the pupils.
