Trainee Medical Secretary – Float Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm Salary: starting from £21,000 per annum, depending on experience Location: Maidstone KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting. We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Float Medical Secretary to join our growing team, supporting KIMS Hospitals Consultants and the administration of their practice and to assist in building and developing their patient base. Role Responsibilities include: Working alongside the KIMS Medical Secretary Team, you will receive training to support with all administrative tasks. Taking responsibility for coordinating patient appointments within various clinics and theatres for various consultants and sending relevant correspondence Working towards becoming a fully trained Medical Secretary Liaising with patients, consultants and other staff at KIMS Hospital Responding efficiently to all queries from patients, staff and other third parties Keeping records up to date and filing/scanning information for patient records Liaising with various KIMS Hospital departments and NHS GP’s as required to improve the booking and patient process.
