We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager who has professional fitness qualifications (level 2 or 3 as a minimum), with management and teaching experience in the fitness industry.

Working as the Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager you will be responsible for managing and the overall running of the fitness centre’s day to day operational requirements.

As the Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager you will also assist with the sales and marketing efforts, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed and generating new membership sales.


DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager will include:

• Sales – achieve new member sales, total membership, and income targets

• Membership retention – use initiative aimed at improving and maintaining member retention

• Centre Operations – the overall running of the fitness centre’s day to day operational requirements

• Marketing – increasing awareness and generating new membership sales

You will lead and be in charge of the Community Liver Health Checks (CLHC) project and will provide follow-up appointments in the hospital manage and set-up new clinics in the community. The CLHC nurse will work closely with the Hepatics C Programme Coordinator, Hepatics C Programme Manager, GP champion Leads in maintaining the data collection, monitoring of targets, uploading data..

The CLHC Nurse will
• Will lead and be in charge of the CLHC programme
• Will provide real-time fibroscanning mainly in the community and follow-up in the hospital
• Will be responsible for managing the programme in terms of liaising with the GP clinics, hostels and drug centers to set-up new clinics and maintaining existing clinic
• Will work closely with the Hepatitis C Programme Coordinator, Hepatitis C Programme Manager, GP champion Leads in maintaining the data collection, monitoring of targets, uploading data, managing workload and contributing in the report writing
• Will work with the wider MDT both in the community and hospital to provide educational outreach sessions.

The Hepatitis C West London Operational Delivery Network (ODN) are dedicated to achieving the elimination of Hepatitis C as a public health threat by 2025 as pledged by United Kingdom Health Security Agency and ahead of the WHO target to achieve elimination by 2030
You must have a flexible approach to working within a team that encourages new ideas and opinions on how to improve the service. The role is specific to Hepatitis C management covering testing and treatment for Hepatitis C in many different settings including testing campaigns, GP surgeries, drug and alcohol services, prisons and other outreach services, for example homeless shelters. You will also work as part of the wider Hepatology teams making a key contribution to the elimination of Hepatitis C.

To provide specialist nursing care and advice Trust wide to support and facilitate individualised high quality and evidence based care to patients /clients/relatives/carers in collaboration with the multi professional team, in line with the local and national targets, at all times ensuring that the needs of the patient are placed at the centre of care delivery.. Act as a professional role model, providing direct and indirect clinical care and teaching. Assist in the development and maintenance, of robust inter-professional relationships which will promote increased capacity for the delivery of high standard clinical research within ward / department team and across the different care settings. This involves managing a wide range of complex and sometimes conflicting priorities.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

Due to the expansion of our imaging service operating over7 days between the hours of 08:00 to 20:00, we are looking for a Band 4 RTT Validation & Clerical Support Officer to join our growing Administration team with in the General Imaging department at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.



This is an exciting opportunity to undertake this new role within the Imaging Department the successful candidate will work within a busy and buoyant team. They will need to be able to multitask, use their own initiative and remain flexible in order to complete set tasks and deadlines.



The successful candidate will need to have or be willing to quickly gain an understanding of the Elective Patient Access Policy, RTT Guidelines, and DM01 requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills are essential as they will need to be able to manage their own workload to meet pre-determined targets, sometimes under pressure. Computer literacy is also an essential requirement for this position.

The successful candidate will be expected to input/extract information from Patient Administrative & Radiology Information Systems, CRS, Qliksense and spreadsheets during their daily work.



It is essential to have strong administrative background with good organisational skills. The successful candidate will need to actively demonstrate our WeCare value and behaviours.

The main purpose of this post is to actively validate and track the referral to treatment processes in a patient’s diagnostic pathway. To escalate the following to service and clinical leads;



· Any delays due to insufficient clinical information to progress the patient’s pathway.

· Pathways that require an event or a scheduled event to be brought forward in line with DM01 guidelines.

· Trends/key themes of incorrect requests/data entry against the individual patient pathways.
