What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a professional, approachable and welcoming skilled Administrative Assistant, who will also be required to administer first aid (full training will be given):
The successful candidate will ensure the provision of effective administration and clerical support within the school. As part of a small team of reception /administrative staff, you will work in a dynamic environment providing excellent customer service for staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
The school reception office is our communications hub and is the key position as first point of contact for callers and visitors to the school, therefore the post holder will be part of the team presenting a friendly, professional, effective and efficient corporate image at all times and be able to deal skilfully, calmly and assertively with any situation.
You need to have excellent communication skills, be well organised and stay calm under pressure. The successful candidate will be competent in the use of IT and training will be provided on school systems.
