Job Description:
Manages diverse team of Wholesale Credit Admin employees supporting the credit fulfillment and service processes for client teams within Global Commercial Banking. Responsible for administrative functions for a very large, complex line of business that is national in scope. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement. Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements impacting the line of business. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business units functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. Has full management responsibility over a relatively large team. Specific areas of responsibility include credit monitoring and support, management routines, continuous process improvements and people management.
In addition to leading the Wholesale Credit Admin employees the manager supports the Commercial Credit Executive in the overall operations of the business. Responsibilities include diverse functions for Regional Credit including:
- Acting as a subject matter expert on projects
- Coordinating data remediation activities
- Supporting audit/compliance exams
- Assisting with audit/compliance/self-identified issues management
- Driving process improvement and operational excellence
- Improving client and associate experience
- Reporting and communications support
