Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive for our Team in Irvine, CA!
Major Purpose: Under the supervision of the Operations Leader, will perform duties requiring a high degree of technical expertise. This position requires the ability to work autonomously in performing duties requiring extensive knowledge and understanding of the insurance field. This position is characterized by the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in organizing, scheduling and performing the work generated by the portion of the book of business you have been assigned to. Responsible for day-to-day direction of Account Administrators.
Essential Duties and Functions
1. Quoting and Sales of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth accounts
2. Proficient Knowledge and understanding of the HNW and UHNW Client needs and exposures
3. Onsite client visits
4. Work and meet with the members of the client’s team:
- CPA’s
- Wealth Advisors
- Trust Attorneys
- Real Estate and Mortgage Brokers
- Family Office Representatives
- Art Advisors
- Jewelry Advisors
5. Prepare Stewardship Reports
6. Prepare and Lead Renewal Meetings
7. Make coverage recommendations as indicated
8. Continued and extensive knowledge of all unique exposures of the HNW and UHNW client:
- Aviation
- Yacht
- Equine
- Farm
- EPLI
- Risk Management
9. Provides guidance regarding the operation and workflow of support unit in accordance with Brown & Brown policies and procedures
10. Makes decisions on technical problems encountered by account administrators; assists in training and provides support to new account administrators
11. Performs all clerical duties related to coverage including processing of endorsements; checks policies and endorsements for agreement with initial application or request; invoices agency bill renewals, endorsements, and policies
12. Sets up client files; performs required file maintenance; maintains various suspense systems and conducts follow-ups when appropriate, including premium follow-up in accordance with Brown & Brown standard procedures
13. Contacts client by phone, or written correspondence; screens incoming correspondence and acts on it as required
14. Informs Operations Manager of unusual activity on any accounts, handles routine incoming calls; answers questions regarding client coverage and limits for Claims Department
15. Markets new and/or renewal business, compares quotes and conducts rate comparisons and makes recommendations regarding placement of business; Contacts client by phone, or written correspondence; screens incoming correspondence and acts on it as required
16. Performs client service calls on accounts
17. Provides training to new producers
18. Any other job related duties as may be assigned.

Required
1. 2 years experience with High Net Worth accounts
2. High School Diploma
3. Proficient with MS Office Suite
4. Exceptional telephone demeanor
5. Active P&C License
Preferred
1. Bachelor’s
2. 5 years’ experience in a similar position
