PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• With minimal direction, Partner with project customers to solidify initiative scope, timelines, budget, and resources. Assemble and lead project teams through the execution of defined objectives. Create and execute project plans, stakeholder analysis, risk logs, communication plans and other project framework artifacts as defined by CarMax’s Project Norms.  Review deliverables and prepare for stakeholder and sponsor reviews. Ensure project artifacts are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Work with project team members and other resources to remove project obstacles. Manage day to day project operational aspects with internal and external business partners/stakeholders (stores, home office departments, and vendors), customers and project team members.

• With minimal direction, Lead and support continuous improvement.  Responsibilities include but not limited to facilitating medium to large cross-functional working sessions, training department associates on implementation and change management best practices, rollout of new concepts and sustainment, and providing business areas with consultative support on medium to large continuous improvement initiatives.

IT External Audit
Our IT External Audit team assists our clients to meet their IT External audit requirements and timelines. We work as an integrated business and as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team. IT External Audit
• Experience in assisting clients meet their IT External audit requirements and timelines.

Principles Responsibilities Produces, agrees, and oversees delivery of risk-based HQT reviews across all MIAAs clients that are designed to produce sufficient assurances to fulfil the requirements of the Head of Internal Audit Opinion on the effectiveness of internal control. Manages the planning, conduct, output, and opinions for all HQT audit work across all MIAA clients within agreed deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Operates as budget holder for allocated reviews/plans i.e., a discrete set of services, requiring the planning and organizing of complex activities and programmes toensure income is recovered, costs contained, and outputs delivered. Often these budgeted plans need to be adjusted on an ongoing basis for reporting to Audit Committees as priorities shift. Manages and develops the key relationships with MIAA clients, particularly at Director of Nursing and Medical Director level. Provides the principal advice to MIAA clients on HQT review findings and their potential impact on Annual Governance Statement preparation and related governance and risk management matters. Responsibility for ensuring allocated HQT reviews are incorporated into the overall planning of resources and commitments for the function. Plans and organises the work schedule for allocated reviews to ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual timetables are delivered particularly regarding Audit Committee deadlines. Personally, conducts a range of highly complex audits for reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee. Your new role
This Firm is looking for a Tax Audit Senior Manager to be based in the Midlands, to take responsibility for the tax specialist work on a portfolio of their largest and most complex audits along with a role on compliance and reporting clients. You will regularly speak with heads of tax from FTSE100 businesses. The scope of the role includes: tax accounting (IFRS, FRS102 and US GAAP); working as a specialist as part of the audit team; managing relationships with client tax and finance teams and a national role in setting the agenda on how the firm undertakes tax audits. The role allows you to put into practice your tax technical skills in a stimulating and challenging environment

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have gained tax audit experience within a big 4 environment or large corporate business, have an in-depth knowledge of IFRS and FRS102 and ideally have some US Gaap experience.
