Job Description

• Manage Credit Card Finance Operation Function, to ensure that Settlement to Merchant and Card Scheme by timely basis;
• Manage Loan Financing Function, ensure that proper reconciliation being carry out by timely basis;
• Lead the accounting department and ensure that all the expenses recognize (ie accruals, prepayment and fixed assets) on time.
• To review month end account closing and perform analysis on fluctuation.
• To ensure that periodical closings, reports, ledgers reconciliation are prepared accurately and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Support respective Stakeholder on Credit Card and Loan Financing operation, providing recommendations or problem solving as and when required.
• To manage Strategic Department, review monthly management reports, Department Performance Reporting to respective Business Unit.
• To support in preparing variance analysis on performance as well as cost analysis for difference types of meeting purposes.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• To work closely with Internal and external auditors. 
• Ensure compliance of Finance processes and initiate operations efficiency improvement to existing processes if required
• To comply with policies and procedures, clear desk policy, store P & C information in locked place, shred unwanted documents; be mindful of internet/email usage, security and proprietary information to reduce the risk of security breaches.
• Support the company’s business direction and growth

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting / Finance and/or professional accounting qualification in ACCA, CIMA, CPA or MACPA.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with established companies and/or reputable audit firms.
• Proficiency in all aspects of financial processes
• Keep abreast with changes in financial reporting standards
• Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadline.
• A good team player, strong in Finance Operation skill and leadership skills
• Think out-of-box and recommend alternative solutions for challenges encountered.

Job Responsibilities :

• Plan and conduct internal audit reviews according to the approved annual audit plan to assess effectiveness and efficiency of internal control, governance and risk management processes.
• Undertake audit planning and fieldwork independently and ensure well documented audit work papers to support audit conclusion and results.
• Prepare audit report and develop practical or value added recommendations to address the root cause of issues identified or to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor and follow-up to ensure agreed improvement plans are timely implemented.
• Involvement in the Company’s J-SOX assessment process and other ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in related field such as auditing, banking, accounting, finance, commerce.
• A minimum of 4 years of internal auditing experience, preferably with prior exposures in banking / financial services industry.
• Exposure and experience in ISO Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and ISO37001) and Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley (J-SOX) will be an added advantage.
• Good command of English with good report writing and communication skills.
• A good team player with high level of integrity, initiatives, and good interpersonal and analytical skills.

The Senior Auditor is responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to contribute to the development of new techniques / processes for the area or function and help Citi reach business goals.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Perform validation of regulatory issues relating to risk management, including drafting reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions

• Draft audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross-functional solutions

• Complete assigned regulatory issue validations within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs

• Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks

• Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines

• Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope

• Develop effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business; Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

•At least 3-5 years of experience a highly regulated industry or a BFSI

• Experience with working in or auditing Risk Measurement and Management including Credit Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, Market Risk, Risk Reporting, Risk Capital, and Treasury/ Liquidity Risk Management (Credit or Market Risk experience preferred)

• Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application

• Related certifications (CIA, FRM, or similar) and Bachelor’s/University degree preferred

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision; Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy

• Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills and project management skills

The Purpose:

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform internal audits and delivery assurance and advisory services in accordance with out Internal Audit methodology and professional internal auditing standards.
• Contributing to audit strategy and planning activity, ensuring the plan is relevant to the needs of the business.
• Oversee/manage co-sourced service providers.
• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk, including emerging risks. Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and enhancing internal controls.
• Ensure that the company’s operations are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, especially within the payments industry.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining audit findings, risk areas, and recommended corrective actions.

Key Competencies and Skills:
