Their client base is diverse across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses that share their passion for innovation.You will join a corporate team, which undertakes audit and assurance work on behalf of UK based clients.

You will work with a range of sectors, from smaller not-for-profit organisations to medium sized trading groups to include professional sports teams, care homes, professional services, manufacturing and retail. Turnovers are typically from £1m - £10m (but go up to £25m)

What experience do I need?

• Professional accounting qualification or part-Qualified - ACA, ICAS, CA or ACCA
• UK Practice experience

Your responsibilities

Your focus is on supporting the Partners and Directors in the delivery of the firm's strategy and leading client relationships. You will be responsible for balancing levels of output with client expectations and budget.

You will take the lead on more complex and challenging assignments. You will utilise your internal and external networks to spot opportunities in your existing portfolio and start to generate new business opportunities for the Firm.
You will encourage your team to challenge the status quo and respond confidently to the challenge, using their ideas to drive your team forward. You will play a critical role in the development of your manager team, directing and coaching them to meet their goals and the objectives of the Firm.


Qualifications and skills

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience in external audit, accounts and general practice
• Experience working with OMBs covering a range of industries

* Competent user of MS Excel & Word. Experience of Sage, CaseWare and tax software preferred

Co-ordinate clinical audit activity for all clinical divisions Provide advice and guidance on the completion of all audit projects To ensure all local audit projects are conducted in line with the Trusts Clinical Audit Policy To assist, support and coordinate the Trust participation in national clinical audits To be responsible for the preparation of the annual Clinical Audit Forward Plan To ensure that the registration system for clinical audit operates efficiently and to provide regular feedback to the clinical audit and governance committees on progress. To ensure local clinical audit projects have a SMART action plan in place (where appropriate) To ensure all national audit recommendations are converted into a SMART action plan in a timely way Responsible for the dissemination & sharing of actions from both local and national audits across the Trust Maintain an actions tracker identifying outstanding actions and ensuring evidence is provided for all completed actions To develop working relationships with the Information Services and clinical coding team to assist in obtaining patient lists and data for Quality Accounts preparation To assist in pulling and verifying data in preparation of the annual Trust Quality Account To assist and monitor processes for the dissemination, implementation and monitoring of NICE guidance and NCEPOD recommendations including coordinating audits with Clinical Audit leads as required To ensure non-compliance is escalated to the divisional leads and the Head of QG&C for entry onto the risk register where required and for reporting to relevant Trust wide committees. To assist in the compilation of evidence collation in relation to the Care Quality Commission, NHS Resolution or other external visits as required To line manage members of the Quality Governance & Compliance and Datix teams as required To undertake other ad-hoc Quality Governance projects as required To lead on the delivery of Clinical Audit training including presentations; posters and quality events to supporting the trust strategy on clinical quality.
