RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the internal auditing activity of an assigned location by developing a comprehensive, practical programme of audit coverage for BW Group including but not limited to offices/ functions located in Singapore, Oslo, Manila, Mumbai, Copenhagen, Houston and Beijing; and accomplishing the programme in accordance with acceptable audit standards and stipulated schedules whilst maintaining effective working relations with executive and operating management.

A: Administrative Manager Position

- Responsible for the establishment and execution of procedures and administrative activities incumbent upon the Regional Office. Reporting to the Director of the ASEAN CNRS Office in Singapore, and dotted line to the Financial Service of CNRS HQ in Paris, France.

- The role covers 6 entities: the 2 CNRS Representative Offices based in Singapore for ASEAN and in Australia and the 4 International Research Laboratories (IRL) established by CNRS in Singapore.

- The role includes administrative relations with partners of the entities.

- The role will be performed in two working languages: French and English.

The tasks assigned to the Administrative Manager consist of:

· Human resources management, including:

- Updating the employee’s data under RESEDA (CNRS software for HR) and other necessary tools.

- Coordinating the onboarding of researchers in the 4 IRLs based in Singapore (agreements, formalities, financing, etc.)

- Ensuring the administration of the visits undertaken by the entities (visits, reimbursements, transportation requests, etc.)

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in audit and risk management.
• Exposure to hospitality, residential, commercial, business parks, urban developments, or retail business audits is preferred.
• Keen eye to detail with strong observation and investigative skills
• Strong auditing, analytical skills, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin (to handle queries and concerns from China offices regarding audit matters).
• May be required to travel occasionally.

• Delegating accounting responsibilities or projects to a company’s accounting employees
• Recruiting, educating, and inspiring accounting employees
• Establishing a company’s financial and accounting procedures after consulting with financial heads
• Assessing, creating, and enhancing departmental controls, systems, and practices to improve accuracy and productivity
• Ensuring proper and timely completion of month-end and year-end reports
• Checking financial statements for compliance with corporate and country laws and requirements
• Providing the company’s external auditors with accounting and financial reports and data
• Verifying that a company’s financial operations adhere to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Preparing and submitting corporate tax reports to the country’s revenue authorities
• Examining financial accounts to look for any fraud or mistakes
• Keeping thorough and accurate financial records
• Taking part in reconciliations and audits as necessary
• Helping other departments with goal setting, strategy creation, and decision making
• Keeping abreast of recent financial industry trends and developments

● To take ownership of the finance aspects of the Group and its 4 subsidiary business units, all

whilst working closely and assisting the key stakeholders with making decision and

implementation of such matters

● Responsible for end-to-end accounting process such as preparation of account schedules,

month-end/year-end financial closing of the all entities in accordance with group accounting

policies, and ensured accuracy & completeness of financial reporting

● In charge of monthly and annual consolidation for sub-group/ultimate group level financials

● Prepare and distributed monthly management reports

● Lead & coordinated the year-end statutory audit

● Liaise with external/internal auditors and tax agents

● Responsible for tax compliance matters for the local entities to ensure accurate and timely

submission e.g. corporate income tax, quarterly GST reporting etc

● Review the internal controls over financial reporting from time to time for weaknesses and/or

deficiencies, and proposed remediation where necessary

● Provide guidance to Assistant & Senior Accountants in various aspects such as technical

accounting, reporting format and presentation etc

● Assist in risk & treasury functions

● Work on continuous improvement projects

● Support and manage the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process for the

business
