What You Will Do:
The Senior Audit Remediation Consultant helps clients optimize all the internal controls throughout all elements of their organization, including financial reporting, accounting, logistics, property management, civilian pay, and procurement. This role supports audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings. This also includes performing recurring testing, such as testing internal controls, designing and executing Managers Internal Controls Programs. Additionally providing targeted area support based on Component (e.g., performing root cause analysis for journal vouchers and FBWT variances, conducting PP&E audit remediation, etc.).
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance.
Bachelors Degree
THREE (3) years DoD audit readiness, remediation experience, internal controls documentation and/or testing required
Extensive experience using PowerPoint and Excel
Experience interacting with DoD Government officials and business process owners
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related major
Experience in accounting or related systems
Experience working with large data sets.
