EL1 Assistant Director, Audit and Assurance
About the Role:
Our Federal Government client is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Assistant Director, Audit and Assurance. This role is integral to supporting Australia's clean energy transition and involves leading internal audit, fraud and corruption control, and general assurance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with various business areas and stakeholders to ensure effective achievement of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Audit: Collaborate with the internal audit service provider to support the internal audit program. This includes developing audit scopes, planning audit activities, and managing Management Initiated Reviews.
Fraud and Corruption Control: Conduct regular fraud and corruption risk assessments, improve control plans, and engage with external stakeholders in the fraud and corruption control space.
Cross-Team Support: Provide support to the Risk and Audit Committee, monitor audit reports, and update management on relevant findings
