Our Tech Team at Santander UK is growing, and we are looking for IT Audit Certification Specialist to help us continue leading the way in innovative banking.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of certifying and enhancing our IT audit processes, ensuring they align seamlessly with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The difference you'll make:
- Providing central SME support to all CIO/IOE towers in running active 2/3LOD reviews
- Driving planning and execution of audit and compliance practices
- Leading and assisting with implementation and development of Digital Assurance and Certification practice
- Producing range of reports including formal Attestation statements on status and health of IT systems and software reviews
- Facilitating and coaching of other team members
- Working with stakeholders and clients to ensure effective fieldwork and inventory observations
What you'll bring:
- Internal audit background with a strong focus on SOX and IT-related internal controls, CISA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent certification
- Experience with the development, implementation, and integration of IT risk management platforms
- Ability to act as intermediary between 2/3 LOD functions and the technical SMEs in each area preventing submission delays and misunderstandings
- Experience with ITIL, Lean and Kanban and delivery of risk management, security and audit as a service
- Ability to translate audit findings into comprehensive division-wide remediation strategies to influence and guide senior leaders
It would also be nice for you to have:
- Professional certification (including CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent

This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

If both sides agree we will send your CV to the hiring manager to review. For this position, the interview process will be:
1st Stage - Technical Interview - this will a 30min technical interview with one of the team
2nd Stage - A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.

- Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
