ACTS provides high-intensity support to young people in the community, as an alternative to a Tier 4 inpatient admission, and supports young people in hospital to facilitate discharge back to the community and reduce the length of hospital stay.

The multidisciplinary team provides tailored individualised interventions, including pharmacological, family and individual psychological interventions, informed by evidence-based practice, for young people with acute mental health conditions, in the least restrictive manner, as close to home as possible.

We work in a collaborative way with young people and their families to support them on the path to recovery. We provide a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and treatment we will work closely with the referral network to ensure continuity of care. The main duties of the role include; to provide psychiatric assessments, including risk assessment for young people referred to, and under the care of, the service. This includes undertaking urgent gate keeping assessments. To Provide treatment for young people under the care of ACTS, including providing medication management. To work in close collaboration with the inpatient and bed management teams. To take a leadership role within the team and providing appropriate support, supervision and psychiatric advice to other team members.

Central and North West London (CNWL) specialises in caring for people with a wide range of mental and physical health needs and is one of the largest mental health trusts in England. Each CAMHS service has its own local management structure. ACTS has a Lead Psychiatrist, Therapies Lead and Team Manager who work closely with the Acute CAMHS Service Manager. The team has a rotating format of ongoing team development sessions including: Reflective Practice, CPD, Care Quality and Case Formulation meetings each month. Further, the successful candidate will attend monthly CAMHS Consultants meetings and have opportunities to attend and represent the team in senior management meetings.

Clinical duties include:
• Assuming Consultant responsibility for young people under the care of ACTS.

About the Role

Social Workers on selected pay grades are eligible for our Welcome and Retention Bonus:

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector Governing Body in London for a Management Accounting Officer to join the Housing and Land Finance team on a temporary basis. The postholder will work in a team of Management Accounting Officers, led by a Management Accounting Team Leader, to provide operational technical support to the team of Business Partners who will face the business directly. The team of Management Accounting Officers will provide a centre of excellence in maintaining budgetary information and ensuring that transactions are properly and promptly recorded.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and maintaining accurate financial records for a specified section of the budget.
• Prepare due diligence reports for Business Partner review and sign off, evaluating the financial standing of grant and contract partners.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts based on analysis, constructive thinking, and evaluative judgement.
• Ensuring that budgets and actuals are properly, accurately and promptly recorded and reported.
• Undertake reconciliations of budget areas to ensure that budgets are accurate.

The LAS CT1-2 will be responsible for patient management under the supervision of the Consultant. They will be offered to take part in the City and Hackney on-call rota. Although this is a locum post we would support involvement in local academic programme and training opportunities.

The LAS CT1-2 will be expected to see new patients, provide regular review of mental state for patient under the care of the team, take part in MDT meetings etc. The post-holder will become skilled at clerking in acutely unwell patients, attending to their physical as well as mental health issues, developing treatment plans in liaison with senior psychiatric staff in the team.
