Manage the compilation of activity and performance data from the Macmillan Cancer Psychology Nottingham service Compile anonymised individual patient data from multiple Trust data systems and clinicians in the Cancer Psychology service Maintain and store activity and performance datasets confidentially and securely Liaise closely with Macmillan and their appointed evaluation partners to ensure the data meets their requirements and respond to their queries Support the cancer psychology team to recruit patients and healthcare staff to participate in evaluation questionnaires and interviews about the cancer psychology service Ensure quarterly data reports for Macmillan and their evaluation partners are sent in a timely and secure manner following the processes in the data sharing agreement Support the Cancer Psychology Service to ensure patients are informed about the evaluation Support the Cancer Psychology Service to create streamlined and patient friendly administrative processes Support the Cancer Psychology Service with ad hoc requests when capacity allows, for example helping with training event arrangements.

In addition to the main duties of the job, the audit clerk will be innovative, forward thinking and support the development process of automated systems that enable efficiency and increased productivity within the team and Trust ensuring systems and processes remain future proof. They will support Standard Operating Procedures on data collection, KPI reporting, service line reporting to support the departments quality and financial targets. They will also support the provision of information to support the activity planning and monitoring processes at service level in Critical Care, including the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each of the critical care units. Ensure responsible storage and disposal of documentation generated which contains patient or unit sensitive information, ensuring the Trusts Information Governance policy is adhered to at all times. To be responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date knowledge of all national guidelines and standards relating to the Division and Trust, and ensuring that the Division (and by extension the Trust) are working to achieve them. Support system for Data Validation Reports (DVRs) by ensuring the validation and identification of missing data is retrieved and input into the database accordingly. Support and promote data collection at all levels, including communicating any changes in procedure, redesigning data collection forms as required and raising awareness of the importance of clinical data collection.
