An large accounting practice based in Newport looking to add within its successful audit team.
Your new role
- Manage audits from planning to completion.
- Prepare and review general accounts.
- Support the Audit Managers to coach trainees and support their learning and development.
- Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met.
- Monitor workflow of the team.
- Identify and assess risk.
- Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and other sectors of the firm and support company growth.
- The ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
- Confident in networking to promote the department.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA / ACCA or CA qualified or a finalist with audit experience within practice
- A self-motivated and reliable person who is eager to progress.
- Technically efficient in both audit and accounting
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
What you'll get in return
- £35,000 to £40000
- Full time, permanent position
