As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-09/11, you will develop, modify, and test overall system backup and recovery strategies for assigned systems. Has overall responsibility to the ISR Flight Commander for planning, executing and sustaining intelligence for ISR functions/operations (to include AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) weapon system, AF tactical intelligence systems, and AF national intelligence systems, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT/MASINT, Acquisition Intelligence, Targeting, and All-Source/Fusion Analysis) in support of the U.S. Air Force DoD, and National level Agencies in the areas of foreign intelligence, foreign counterintelligence, counterterrorism, anti-terrorism, combat operations, and peacekeeping/peace building operations worldwide.

- Serves as an AFRC ISR expert, interfacing with AFRC and AF Operations Centers, to maintain command/control/oversight and tasking of Air Force Reserve Forces within the ISR Group as well as Regular Air Force (RegAF) ISR units, missions, and operations.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) performing such duties as removing, installing, adjusting, aligning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:
1. Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders/commercial manuals (C40 only) and specifications.
2. Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications.
3. Accomplishes aircraft maintenance and equipment record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair

5. Verifies and certifies work processes and procedures and adequacy of work accomplished by certified co-workers and trainees

• Participates with the Branch Chief in providing maintenance expertise to Headquarters United States Aire Force Logistics (HAF), System Program Office (SPO), Major Command (MAJCOM) staff agencies, Numbered Air Forces, commanders, and tenant units for cradle-to-grave weapon system management and complies with legal and regulatory requirements to meet customer needs.
• Interprets and implements MAJCOM logistics policies and procedures, develops, schedules, and directs in conjunction with NC3 System Program Offices, Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center Program Office, and contractor maintenance programs.
• Represents HQ AFGSC/A4 and the NC3 Sustainment Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Serves the command in the development, planning, programming, acquisition, sustainment, and management of life cycle logistics support for ICBM NC3 systems, and support equipment.
• Manages, analyzes, evaluates, and presents data, project proposals, and/or reports.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:

• Provides expert advice and assistance to the Scientific Analysis (SA) Director, Laboratory Director and Deputy Laboratory Directors in Hawaii and Nebraska.

• Provides leadership to the Quality Assurance Program (QAP), implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) established by the SA Director, provide administrative assistance to scientific staff, and provide advice to the Laboratory Director on matters of policy and procedure as they relate to quality assurance and accreditation under the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025: General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and all supplemental requirements of external accrediting bodies.

• Utilizes appropriate project management techniques to coordinate and develop program execution plans for routine and special laboratory projects to ensure that the organization's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services are articulated and communicated to the team when assigning projects, solving problems and/or program issues.

• Serves as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative regarding contracts that pertain to the services rendered by external accrediting bodies that include annual fees for compliance monitoring of the SA Directorate and fees for accreditation inspections and annual surveillance visits as well as laboratory support services contracts.

• Is the Lead Security Manager for the SA Directorate and liaises with DPAA Security Directorate officials. Incumbent is the Point of Contact with the DPAA Logistics Directorate regarding aspects of security for the laboratory.

• Receives, examines, verifies, and identifies complex categories of materials and equipment.
• Maintains an aggressive surveillance inspection program on stored/on-hand items.
• Receives, examines, and determines condition of a wide variety of complex items and materials to be turned in/removed.
• Monitors special programs, computerized listings, and documentation/records.
• Operates electric, LPG, or diesel powered fork lift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds as high as 168 inches. Uses and maintains tools. • Functions as 53d TEG DET 1 Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) & Cybersecurity subject matter expert responsible for advising higher headquarters, wing leadership, organizations within the 53d Wing, and squadron personnel on all aspects of SAP projects.
• As an expert/senior specialist ISSM, communicates assignments for the day-to-day operation of SAP Cybersecurity Team consisting of military, civilian, and contractor IT security specialists while overseeing cybersecurity programs.
• Troubleshoots complex security problems and provides advice and support in a manner that minimizes interruptions in the ability to carry out business activities.
• As an expert, develops SAP cybersecurity policies, plans, operating instructions, and procedures based on accurate interpretation of National, DoD, and Air Force policy applicable to test & evaluation operations, tactics development, advanced programs, and classified network operations.
• Performs services as a senior systems administrator.
