Major Duties as Assigned, but not limited to:

• Incumbent will be the first line of contact with the Veteran and must be knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects regarding the VA.
• Responsible for running the Encounter Action Required Report (EARR) and providing findings to providers to facilitate accurate workload credit and revenue collection.
• Promotes Veteran registration for and utilization of MyHealtheVet (MHV), an online personal health record for Veterans.
• Performs in-person authentication (IPA) for Veterans requesting initial access to individually identifiable health information within the MHV web-based application.
• Responsible for receiving and routing all Veterans who report to the facilities for scheduled and unscheduled examinations and appointments.
• Ensures that the patients are electronically checked in for their appointments.
• Responsible for processing first party requests and ensuring forms are complete and accurate.
• Responsible for ensuring non-VA records are forwarded to the appropriate provider for review and forward to the appropriate agency prior to inclusion into the patient's medical record.
• Captures insurance and demographic information on all Veterans, explaining VA's role in insurance reimbursement.
• Responsible for running the following reports/queries on a daily basis (not all-inclusive): Open Text Orders, Patient Care Encounter (PCE), Recall Reminder Delinquent Report, Recall Reminder Non-Compliant Report, and Consult Tracking Report.
• Receives telephone calls and visitors to the VA, (i.e., patients, families, and friends of patients) regarding such things as the availability of, and procedures for obtaining medical assistance, directions and information for contacting various departments, services and requests for changes in scheduled appointments.
• Schedules outpatient clinic appointments according to VHA Directive 2010-027 using Veterans Heath Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) scheduling options or VistA Scheduling Enhancement (VSE).
• Must work in a multi-screen computer environment being able to use VistA and CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System) screens bilaterally.
• May be required to cross cover for other areas of the service due to patient care needs, workload demands or staff shortages.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and assists the Club Manager in the economic and efficient operation of the club.

Monitors operations of a club or assigned area. Responsible for issue, receipt, and control of cash boxes. Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned by management. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of equipment to make sure they are in good mechanical and safe operating condition. Performs routine inspection and minor maintenance on all vehicles assigned to Outdoor Recreation. Uses and maintains tools and equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools such as but not limited to: drills, power saws, routers, standard hand tolls, straight edge, chalk line, tapes, rules, caulking items, pipe wrenches, rollers, putty knife, etc. Must maintain all current certification required to complete all assigned tasks (ie HAZMAT, Safety, Motor Vehicle Operating, etc). • Plans and carries out shipping arrangements for movements are made principally within a geographic area comprised of approximately one-half of the United States or nationwide (and sometimes to contiguous foreign countries) including shipments to seaports when there is no responsibility for rates and routes beyond the seaports.

As an Aircraft Mechanic, WG-8852-10, you will:

Perform inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on aircraft to include periodic, phase, hourly, preflight, post flight, calendar, thru-flight, and special inspections such as fuel contamination, emergency equipment, and oil sampling.

Inspect and perform functional checks such as landing gear retraction and operation checks on hydraulic, electrical, pressurization, lubrication, de-icing, vacuum, induction, and exhaust systems.

Troubleshoot and perform unscheduled maintenance on assigned and transient aircraft, utilizing various gauges, meters, measuring devices and other related test equipment.

Remove and replace aircraft components such as control surfaces, engines, constant speed drive, engine mounted gear boxes, wing fuel tanks or cells, landing gear mechanisms, wheels, brakes and tires.
